How can I establish an account with AOBC.com?
With just one call to our Customer Service Department at 201-767-7600, an account representative will set up your account and will assign a User ID and Password for you to begin using right away.
Is it safe to purchase on AOBC.com?
Yes. We use the latest encryption technology to keep your personal information safe. All your ordering information -- including your name, address, and credit card number -- is encrypted using a secure server for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels through our ordering system.
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can shop at AOBC.com using American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Corporate Checks, Bank Drafts.
When will charges be made to my credit card?
Charges are applied when the items are shipped. AOBC.com will prepay the publisher when necessary as a service to our customers.
Do you carry out-of-print books?
Yes, we're proud to offer millions of out-of-print books. Just click on the "Special Request" at the top or send us an e-mail at orders@aobc.com, with as much information as possible (title, author, ISBN, etc.) You can also call our Customer Service Department at 201-767-7600.
How can I search for items?
You can search for items in three ways: Quick Search, Advanced Search, and Browse Subjects. Quick Search and Advanced Search both search our entire inventory. Quick Search is a single-field search. Advanced Search allows you to search on multiple fields and apply search filters. If you don't know exactly what item you are looking for, Browse Subjects by clicking on one of the featured Subjects buttons or All Subjects button on the left.
What if I can't find the item I need?
If you can't find a particular item through our search engine, click on the "Special Request" button at the top or send us an e-mail at orders@aobc.com with as much information as possible (title, author, ISBN, etc.) You can also call our Customer Service Department at 201-767-7600. If it's in publication, we'll get it for you!
How can I place a bulk order?
A bulk order discount is available for large quantities of same title publications. If you have a bulk order of the same title, you can request a bulk discount quote. To request a price quote, click on "Bulk Order Discounts" and complete the form. You´ll be able to see the quoted items in the Order and Quote Status Page.
How do I change the shipping address for a particular order?
For corporate customers who seem to request this the most, addresses can be changed for any particular shipment at the time of checkout. The original default account address will be provided automatically for future orders. To change the default address of your account permanently you must contact your account representative at customerservice@aobc.com.
How can I check on my orders or quotes? Can I track the package?
We offer online Order and Quote Status where you can check on your past and pending orders or quotes. By clicking on the "Order Status" at the top of any page, you will get the details of your order or quote. Click on Confirmation Number, and you´ll be able to see which items have already been shipped and which are in process. Once your items are shipped, we'll even tell you the UPS tracking number.
